Measurement

What is a branded question?

A branded question is a question that explicitly names the brand being examined.

It can test whether a system recognises the business and describes it accurately. Naming the brand changes the task compared with open category discovery.

A successful answer does not show that the brand would appear without that cue. The distinction matters when interpreting visibility.

In Seenford

Seenford measures branded question answers as Recognition, separately from Discovery.
