The Seenford Standard

How does Discovery work?

Discovery works by examining whether a brand appears when a user describes a need without naming that brand.

It tests whether the system introduces the business as part of answering a relevant question. This differs from supplying information about an already named business.

Question relevance matters. Absence from an unsuitable request does not establish a meaningful visibility problem.

In Seenford

Seenford measures Discovery as being found when the question does not name the brand, separately from Recognition.
