What does Google AI Mode mean?
Google AI Mode means a search experience that uses artificial intelligence to provide conversational, generated responses and support follow-up questions.
It is distinct from a generated overview shown within a conventional results page. The experience can combine retrieval with extended interaction.
Availability and behaviour can vary. Findings from another search feature should not be assumed to describe this mode.
In Seenford
Seenford uses Google AI Mode as a scope distinction: its six-engine check includes Google AI Overviews, not Google AI Mode.
Example
A user refines a search by asking a follow-up about a suggested option.
