Why Seenford
Why Seenford? What AI says about a brand, with the receipts
Seenford is an AI visibility platform for brand teams. It shows how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot describe, recognise and recommend a brand, with the answers behind every result. It is built for answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO), the work of getting a brand found and recommended in AI answers.
The top 5
1.Every result comes with the answers behind it.
Every verdict links to the exact sentence the engine wrote and the rule that scored it. A client or boss can see why, not just a number.
2.Being named isn't being recommended. We show the difference.
Five clear verdicts: Top pick, Recommended, Mentioned in passing, Named with caution and Not mentioned, never blended into one score. Named with caution makes warnings visible, even when an engine names the brand.
3.From finding to fix to proof.
Actions shows what to fix first, engine by engine, and drafts the page. Once the action is completed, Seenford compares the four weeks before with two and four weeks after. A win or drop is only reported when the change exceeds normal week-to-week variation. Unknown facts stay as clear [ADD: …] placeholders, never invented.
4.Does AI find the brand, and does it know the brand? Two questions, never averaged.
Discovery tests whether AI finds the brand when a buyer's question does not name it. Recognition tests whether AI knows the brand when the question does. Two different problems, with different fixes. Built-in knowledge and live web search are also kept apart. Found counts unprompted answers only; Recommended can include answers to questions that name the brand.
5.Six engines, one rate.
ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot on every plan, with no credits or prompt caps: £119 per month for a single brand, or £139 per brand, per month on Multi-brand, both excluding VAT.
More
6.Built for AEO and AI visibility from the ground up
Seenford was designed from day one to measure how AI answer engines talk about brands. It covers AEO and GEO properly. It is not an SEO engine with an AEO layer added on top, or an old keyword tracker given a new skin.
7.It finds the brand's blind spots
It lists the buyer questions where no engine names the brand at all. These are more urgent than topics where the brand is merely weak.
8.It shows how question wording changes the answer
Mention rate is broken down by question type (open recommendation, direct comparison, how-to-choose), because the same brand often wins one and loses another.
9.It flags when AI confuses the brand with something else
Mistaken identity and wrong-category answers become watch items, and they get more prominent the longer they stay unresolved.
What Seenford doesn't claim
It doesn't claim to know how many people saw an answer, and answers come from clean sessions, not personalised ones. Every limit is written down in public on the methodology page, along with the scoring rules and how we build ranges.
